Historic social justice

“Historic social justice”, Carmel Pine Cone – August 25, 2023

You have to wonder what Nadja Mark of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force is smoking. For some strange reason, Mark labeled Mike Gibbs of P.G. a “Nazi” for making a case for learning skills where “repetition is the foundation of understanding and clarity.” That is Mike’s crime? Apparently, Mark has little understanding of political, economic, and ideological dynamics.

The National Socialists of Europe in the first half of the 20th century were some of the strongest supporters of “social justice,” “social equity,” “socialism,” and “Volkisch equality.” For instance, Joseph Goebbels, who once called himself a Communist and a follower of Lenin, wrote in 1931 that the leaders of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party “are the German left. Nothing is more hateful to us than the right-wing national ownership block.” As for the infamous German dictator with a tooth-brush mustache, he championed “social justice,” “social equity,” and called himself a “fanatical socialist.”

I have a feeling that Gibbs has nothing to do with these horrible socialists from the past. But I am not so sure I can make the same claim about Mark and the DEI Task Force.
