Sounding the Alarm

In March of 2021, a group of concerned citizens in the Monterey, CA area searched for ways to advance free and open exchange of ideas in a dark age of anti-free speech. They wanted to give voice to the voiceless. They decided that the best way to sound the alarm over the devastating loss of intellectual pluralism was to encourage like-minded individuals to write letters, guest columns or articles to the editor of their local periodicals. Since many of these attempts to provide alternate viewpoints were published in small-circulation periodicals, or never saw the light of day at all, it was decided that a platform should be created to make them available to a wider audience.
