“Biden needs to draw the line on Ukraine support”, Monterey Herald – July 15, 2023

At their summit meeting, Biden once again caved in to Zelenskyy’s pressure demands for Ukraine’s membership in NATO. This could technically pull the U.S. and NATO member nations into war with Russia, after all the billions of dollars worth of weapons we have sent there. Once we start sending troops, I think public support for the conflict will vanish fast.

Biden really needs to have Zelenskyy pipe down on this dangerous rhetoric. I suggest if Ukraine wants to join NATO before the war is over, we should invite Russia to join NATO, too. This might bring a pause on escalating the conflict from both sides. It doesn’t help that Ukraine is meeting NATO without membership there.
