Masks in schools

“Masks in schools,” Monterey Herald – April 17, 2022

There have been protests this week at Spreckles Elementary School. Adults are allowed to unmask today, but our children cannot. The Monterey County of Education put out a press release signed by Eric Tarallo, Superintendent of Spreckles School, stating the masking of children will continue according to California state requirements.

Children have always held the lowest amount of COVID risk as opposed to adults with comorbidities such as; disease, being elderly, obesity or having bad health habits. The masking of our children must stop.
