“Scoffing at laws”

The Pine Cone’s August 1st column, “The Gavel Falls”, illuminates an apparently massive enterprise of supplying roadside food vendors in Monterey County with unsanitary meat products.  When state governments, officials, and law enforcement agencies abet unbounded criminal immigration, it follows that overall enforcement of law becomes somewhat whimsical as well.  The result being that many aspects of the very laws that protect the peace and safety of our society are scoffed at by those who have already benefited from the criminal actions of the aforementioned state authorities.
