Free press?

“Free press?”  Monterey Herald – July 24, 2023

I learned in elementary school that an important part of preserving our democracy was to have a free press. Little did I know that we would find it interpreted to mean “discretion of the press to hide the truth.”

So many of my friends and neighbors have no idea what’s really happening in Washington, D.C. The mainstream media’s failure to report the truth about the whistleblowers testifying against President Biden and his family is unacceptable. Do the Democrats believe that this is the way to preserve their beloved Democracy!
