“Fossil fuels,” Monterey Herald — March 8, 2023

The war against clean-burning natural gas is heating up. As the Herald’s front-page article detailed, prices of natural gas in California have doubled, tripled and quadrupled across our state, mostly due to Gov. Newsom’s war on fossil fuels. Every other state has far, far cheaper natural gas. California Democrats want to force consumers to buy and install electrical stoves, heaters, and water heaters for the lunatic reason that humanity somehow has the power to change the climate.

Pseudo-environmentalists seem to believe that people are mighty gods and with the snap of their fingers, can alter the natural laws of physics and meteorology. The sun is the overwhelming driver of climate, not people! We need to end this insanity and remove these harsh controls, taxes and regulations before we transform into an even larger impoverished population.
