Masks

“Masks” – Monterey Herald, May 22, 2021

The CDC revised the mask guidelines saying it is safe for vaccinated people to forego wearing a mask and social distancing in virtually all situations. There were a few exceptions, however, including crowded indoor locations such as airplanes, buses, hospitals, etc. Is the House floor really considered a crowded place? Why is it that Nancy Pelosi will subject GOP lawmakers to a $500 fine for the first offense and a $2,500 fine for subsequent offenses if they don’t wear a mask even if they have been vaccinated? I suppose House Democrats are all wearing their masks so they won’t get fined even though they have been vaccinated? Is that following the science? Seems like Nancy Pelosi et al should be role models for Americans who have been guided by the recent guidelines from the CDC.
