“Beyond the spin,” Monterey Herald – August 14, 2022

All of our problems have now been solved.  President Biden needs only to wave his magic wand and everything is good again. With a flick of his wrist, inflation is now at “zero,” not the 8.5 percent announced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

What about the two-quarters of negative GDP growth?  No, that never happened. The old meaning of “recession” is now meaningless.

What is next?  Gravity is not real, the earth is flat and the moon is made of green cheese?  Why not?  We can no longer believe our lying eyes.

We now live in the wonderful and magical world of Biden’s and the Democrats’ imagination. I now feel so much better.
