Buffalo shooter was a racist, anti-semite

“Buffalo shooter was a racist, anti-semite,” Monterey Herald—June 9, 2022

I find it interesting that we now know that the Buffalo shooter was not only a racist and an anti-Semite but also a “left-wing authoritarian” activist.  He even called himself an “eco-fascist national socialist.”

What makes this so fascinating is that historians have found a quote from Joseph Goebbels, who was the Propaganda Minister and briefly the Chancellor of Nazi Germany.  In his “The Attack” Dec. 6, 1931 publication, Goebbels wrote, “According to the idea of the NSDAP [Nazi party], we are the German left. Nothing is more hateful to us than the right-wing national ownership block.”

Even Benito Mussolini, who considered himself a disciple of Lenin, wrote in 1933, “It may be expected that this will be a century of authority, a century of the Left, a century of Fascism.”

Maybe left-wing activists are beginning to see their history and location on the political spectrum in a very different light.
